We were commissioned by Global Witness to do the animations on their recent campaign film spotlighting the role of major financial institutions in funding meat industry giants linked to the destruction of Brazil’s Cerrado biome. This vast and biodiverse savannah is being rapidly cleared for industrial agriculture, with devastating consequences for climate, communities, and ecosystems.

The brief called for a vibrant visual approach to help communicate complex geopolitical and environmental data in an accessible way. We developed a colourful series of illustrated maps and infographics, brought to life with subtle but engaging motion to support the film’s narrative without overwhelming it.
